The reason for picking up a heavy nucleus for this test is as follows.
One may think that the heavier the nucleus is, the smaller the
necessary mesh size is because the number of radial nodes in
single-particle wavefunctions increases. On the other hand, the
saturation property of the nuclear matter suggests that the involved
maximum linear momentum is independent of the mass number. We want to
see which statement is true in a quantitative way.
